Pashley Brooks 150th Anniversary Roadster

Pashley are pleased to introduce a new Limited Edition Roadster to celebrate Brooks 150th Anniversary. The Roadster, a traditional city bike, comes in a Granite Blue colour and is equipped with a special edition Brooks B33 leather saddle with copper-plated rails. It also features Brooks leather handlebar grips, as well as other copper detailing to reflect the "spirit" of the project, copper being one of the most distinguishing and iconic aspects of the Brooks brand. There will be a maximum of 150 of this model of bicycle produced. Each bicycle comes with special Brooks 150th Anniversary graphics and is available in 20", 22" and 24" frame sizes. The bike will be at the B1866 store in London from 17th November 2016 and then at other participating retailers.

Pashley has a long association with Brooks, having initially been based 5 miles away from the factory in Birmingham. Many of the bicycles in the Pashley range use Brooks saddles and have done so almost continuously, since Pashley was founded in 1926. Both companies continue with the tradition of making fine products in Great Britain for discerning customers.

The Pathfinder has been created for that perfect combination of all-purpose, all year round bike with a choice of derailleur or hub gears. It effortlessly combines modern geometry and performance with the enviable Pashley aesthetic to create a truly refined bicycle capable of traversing the map whichever route you choose.

Hand-crafted using a specially selected lightweight blend of butted Reynolds 531 and 631 steel tubing and fine-lugged construction, the classic geometry of the Pathfinder provides a dynamic riding style with a light and responsive feel. A longer fork and extended headtube make for a more upright (comfortable) riding position whilst still retaining the classic horizontal toptube. A long wheel base offers comfort and stability when loaded with panniers and the steering geometry provides predictable control over rougher ground.

Overall performance is enchanced by powerful disc brakes - renowned for being 'the best in their class' - coupled with quality contact points provided by a Brooks Cambium Saddle and bar tape.

The Pathfinder 'Trail' model is built with a wide-ranging Shimano Alfine 8 hub enclosed gearing system, making for virtually maintenance free riding and flawless gear changing, unaffected by mud and grit. This is complimented by Continental Cyclocross Speed tyres that allow a fast on-road experience yet offer grip on gravel.
