I've always found the staff at this shop very helpful and friendly, and they have a good product range, as well as providing servicing for bikes I can't recommend this shop highly enough!

I bought my bike about a year ago and was very pleased with the service and enjoy riding my bike but I'm leaving this review as cycled past today and a young man who was working on a bike outside noticed my rear tyre was a bit flat so called out to me.
He said they could pump it up which they did free of charge. Really appreciate them picking up on this and the fantastic customer service.

Really great selection and helpful staff. We didn't end up purchasing as our 4 year old did not like the colour available (He's very fussy) But we were shown lots of bike and given great advice. I wanted to buy one right there but alas, 4 year olds!

Can Jenny possibly hire her usual Premier ladies bike please at the same price, £130, with 50% refunded when she goes back home?
This time Jenny returns to Cape Town about 25 June, then returns to Southend about 25 August for another two months. It might be possible for you to let her have extended use of the bike, which you could keep in store for the two months she is back in Cape Town. Please advise.

local pub to rest it out (her on the batteries, me on the thighs) and
..... it's certainly going to solve our initial problem of us beng able
to go out cycling together, but, the bike's so good, it's going to
create a new problem....what's she going to do with her time, while she
gets off and waits for me every 3 miles! So, thanks again.....great product, sold in a friendly, intelligent and knowledgable way...praise where praise is due!

On the 23rd December I bought a Falcon Storm (paid £149.99 cash), for my wife for Christmas. Unfortunately, it is too big for her you may remember we discussed this in the shop. On top of this, she's recently fallen down the stairs and broken her foot, and can't ride it anyway! Can I ask what your policy is on refunds, please? I know we don't have a right to a refund as the goods are not faulty, but I can honestly say the bike has not been ridden and is in pristine condition.
Hope you can help, I'd be genuinely grateful.

I have a commuter fold-up (six months old) and a stumpy FSR (brand new, nicccce), had a few issues with the brakes on the fold-up and Bikebase was the only place with a service slot, never used them before and had to get it done beofre the working week. Well what can I say, I am really, really happy, the service both customer and technical was excellent. The cost was very reasonable and the place had a real good vibe. I asked if I needed a full service and the guy took a look and then SAVED me some money by saying it was only the brakes that needed doing!!! How refreshing to get someone who tries to save you money. I usually use Richardsons in leigh and think that these guys now have some competition. BikeBase is certainly a little gem that I will without doubt be using again. Thanks guys
